Would anyone reccomend reinstallnig FS9 after a HDD upgrade? I would have thaught it would improve performance as the whole thing will be on the same part of the disk, due to the masses of free space.

Just thought I'd check first.

It really dosn't matter. Some believe that having FS9 on the same disk as your OS makes it run faster. Others, like myself, prefer to have it on a seperate drive so that you have all the free space you want.

It'll still be on the same drive as the OS as I'm transferring everything accross to the new drive.

Oh god, you can't just drag and drop FS or an OS. It just dosn't work like that. No you have to reinstall.

I'm Using Acronis True Image to duplicate the disk, not just copying and pasting.

Don't worry, it worked before but I had to send the disk back because it was faulty.
