SLI Question

Ok, so I'm building a PC and I was going to have dual Nvidia 7800s so I got a SLI motherboard, but now I have changed my mind and want to go for a single 8800.  I was wondering if a SLI ready motherboard would run fine on a single card and not get the video messed up.  From what I have read I'm pretty sure it should work, but I just want to verify with you guys over here. ;)

Thanks

Yep will be fine.

If the motherboard has a 16x slot and an 8x slot, make sure you put it in the 16x one. If both slots are 16x, it makes no difference.

Your 8800 will run a treat ;)

Are you sure you're getting a Q6800? Thats a $1500 processer.
