Okay?

Postby Hai Perso Coyone? » Thu Jan 04, 2007 5:08 am

Well, after talking with my parents, I just turned off my External HDD...I'm gonna give it for service in my dad's office...Hopefully, they'll be able to do something about it...But, just now, I tried to copy over a file to my internal drive for back-up purposes when I got this Cyclic Redundancy Check error...What the heck does that mean?? Turning off the drive means no more FS9 and other games...but the drive is more important to me...I can always re-install the games...

Cheers,
Ashar :'( :'(

Basically means the data is or was damaged during transfer or is corrupt.
BTW have you tired to run scandisk on that drive?
