@Sgt. Gabe, $800 w/ a monitor? If thats Canadian, I don't know if I can do that. $800 UDS (about 1K CD) is where I start as a minimum and work my way up from there. Even going through Dell and the like, the cheapest I could get you was $2,200. The biggest problem is that you are next gen gaming on a budget of about half of what you need.
You are 15, go get a job in a retail shop. When I was 15 I worked, and thats how I was able to continue to rebuild Sheila. Or you could ask your parents to go half. If they are willing to match what you can come up with, your dreams of having an excellent gaming rig could become a reality.
@YF: Your problem is that you let a program do all the work for you, and it only went to where your drivers said it was safe. Most of us (well Nick Congo, and I etc) do all of our tweaking by hand at the BIOS level pushing all our parts until they just cant put any more speed out. We also have done software tweaking. Editing FSX or windows files to get the optimal out of our hardware. Removing limiters built into windows or our games so that our hardware can push as hard as it wants, and the software will keep going with it.
Drop down to "Tweaking and overclocking" for a more indepth look at why someone who has spent half of what you did, and has a better preforming rig than you.
Again looking at your speeds this truely shows. You are only getting 3.22Ghz out of that conroe? Tom's and Maximum PC both pushed it clear of the 4Ghz mark with a stock cooler. You really have to ditch all the fske driver tuning, and go in and get dirty with your CMOS.
Cheers
Cameron
