i have a problem.........

hey guys

umm... well...

i have a problem with the AA on my sim/video card.
I can have the in sim AA on but jaggies are still massive which ive never had before on my old machine. and then i triued turing my vid card AA up to 4x which is full and the screen when in the menu of the sim was completely haywire... so i turned it down to 2x +Q ??? and the jaggies reappeared. so i ttried a mixture of 2x+Q and in sim AA and no diferenc....

does anyone know what could be up?

cheers
james

Try turning off the AA in game, and run only the drivers at max, what card do you have?

Gunny

EDIT: Errr a built in no doubt... if its the 7500, so My guess is no AA or Forced AA (in drivers)

in the game (assuming its FS) Turn off AA in it... and FORCE IT to run 4X or whatever in the drivers.... Should clear it up (Running AA in both will screw it up, I've done it) Well its worth a try... or you could just turn it off altogethor and live with jaggies.

Gunny (I think I'm being clear, kinda tired)

No problems mate and glad you've sorted it. I only made 6-15 flights in FS9 with my 6200 this time last year because I didnt realize I was installing the graphics drivers wrong..... I had that comp already to go and couldnt use it.... LOL! (everything but FS9 worked but I finally fixed it but by then I had the computer blown up)

Cheers, Gunny (always glad to help when I can)
