The two files below appear in all my 6 Partitions. Only just now noticed them & not sure if they were there always.
Should they be there & what puts them there?. Could they be the cause of my jerky fs9 foreground?
"System Volume Information"
"RECYCLER"
Have a good one ALL,

Those are used by Windows and have nothing to do with FS.
You can hide them from view by going to Folder Options, View, and check off "Hide protected operating system files (recommended)".
If you never saw these files before, and now see them all of a sudden, it may be that this box was recently unchecked.
I never saw these before myself until I updated to IE7, and then unchecked this box because I wanted to view some system files.

Sorry, I wish that could have helped.
Looking at your signature:
Asus A8N 32 sli deluxe
Chipset nF4 SLI x16
AMD 64 3.5+ Venice 2.2ghz
Corsair twinx 2x512mb
MSI 6600gt 128 PCI-E
Maxtor sata 160mb
PSU EZ cool 550w
XP pro sp2
X45
You should not be getting jerky performance with that kind of hardware. Where do you have your sliders, and what kind of frame rates are you getting? Has it ever worked OK?

Even so, you helped more than you think, you brought me LUCK.
Would you bilieve it, just changed a bum soundcard to get the mike to work for TS work, and lo and behold, not only fs9 is excelent again, but my DC3 Radio Range that could not load up is back again.
Almost forgot how well fs9 looks after so many weeks without it.
Yes it was perfect for a year or two untill this happened.
Have locked it in 24fps, as the eye cannot see any better than that anyway.
I use a lot of cloud and less of everything else, or just enough for my Photographic SE England to be clear enough to map readmy way around.
Stick around Coffeebean, you are a good kid. luke

you are a good kid.
Thank you sir.
Actually, this is what I tell my three year old son.
He always replies - "Are you a good grown up?"
All I can say is "I sure hope so"
Have a good Christmas!

Same to you, but still cannot talk with this newAudugy S.Card. Could it be my mike gone too?
I will do a process of elimination.
