...same here....;)...!

Looks perfect to me....no "jaggies" anywhere....
....and perfect blending of the edges everywhere, which is what AA does... ;D...!

You are set up for the monitor in both Windows and FSX, correct?

The correct native resolution of the monitor x32, not x16 or some other value?

That doesn't look like an Anti-aliasing problem to me. Seems like you haven't got any filtering set in game (bilinear, trilinear, whatever it goes up to these days).

The antialiasing looks on in the second pic as well, but the sky looks like your colour pallette is 16bit and not 32bit like it should be.

If you can see that there is truly no AA filtering, then it's not showing up in the pics because the resizing to 800x600 makes it invisible to us, and to me, it seems this would occur if your sim's screen resolution were extremely high. If I try to run a massive resolution, my AA drops out, presumably because I do not have enough video memory, (ie only 256mb not the needed 512mb).

I see you only have Quality setting and not High Quality, there is a big difference there. (I only use high quality, but I like a good looking sim).

AA gets rid of jaggy edges. From these pics you have no jaggies except for the road below (quality setting? ) and the sky (16bit or lower colour pallette ?

stick with the official drivers.,.. hacked drivers have never produced a good outcome and when they do, its because they rob one part of the system to give to another

As myself and Congo have both mentioned, did you check to make sure both the desktop display AND the sim settings are set to x32 and not x16?

I just want to verify that before we go any further. The color pallette does not look like x32. The red in the first image also shows a problem with the pallette.. its not using the entire color spectrum x32 provides.

If you are using x32 in both desktop and sim.. then I woulds suspect a corrupt driver issue assuming the Nv drivers are indeed set up correctly and the sim has a high enough mip detail level set.. the slider on the hardware screen in FSX control panel sets how defined the detail in the sim is.

Just out of curiosity that video card are you using and what resolution and color depth?

Also, stick to official drivers.

Exactly, that's why the screenshot looks like AA is on.

It looks like you have the texture resolution in FS set on "ultra low" or something. Also, by the looks of the sky, it looks like you are using 16 bit.

It should be all under the Hardware section of the display settings. As with FS9.

Put sim res to 1024x768x32, and filtering to Trilinear.

Is that 1280 x 1024 x 16 .............. or x 32bit?

Right click desktop/properties/settings tab and look at the settings there. make sure it's 32bit, then go into the sims display settings and set 32bit colour as well, (at the same resolution preferably).

Is 1280 x 1024 the native resolution of your LCD screen or do you have a CRT monitor?

If it's a CRT monitor, set the resolution of Desktop and game to 1280x960x32 and it should be ok.

Your sky in the shot above looks more like 8 bit colour :P
