any suggestions? nothing too fancy. And I want something thats going to be smooth and easy to use for flight sim. I have the X45 currently and while its great for most things. Its far to stiff to use these days for precision flying in flight sim/ CFS.

something with a rudder feature and of course the old throttle wheel thingy.

try ebaying for a MS Sidewinder precision 2.... they dont make em anymore and can be quite expensive if you find one. A good stick with what you want.... All these logitech/Saiteks are a joke to me. I bought a FFB stick because it had everything I wanted (With FFB off its limp, it has a simulated spring) My current stick is a Logitech Wingman Force 3d, and I'd give it a 6 out of 10 because FSX doesnt like it with forces off....

The X-52 is the smoothest, most precise stick I have ever used, but it is a bit pricey, but I personally think it's worth it.

If you are UK based Craig come up to the Harrogate RC Christmas show at the Yorkshire Show Ground (25 & 26 November) and try out some Saitek stick we will have on the stall.

What you want is a Lochitech Extreme 3D Pro. It's cheap, works well and has a twist handle and throttle controll. and it comes with 12 buttons and a little "stick-thingy" to control the camera. I have it and I like it alot. It's just not a very sturdy stick (I know that sounds terrible!  ;D) but if you leave it at your desk, you'll be just fine. I used to take it with me sometimes when travelling and I didn't put it in the box, so now it became a bit "jumpy", but that's my own fault.  ;)
