AMD AMD AMD!!!!!! I love AMD..... this is the 3rd system of AMD I've dealt with...... but I am biased towards AMD, but presently Intel I Believe has a processer that can kill the fastest AMD! Cheers, Gunny

I'll buy whichever processor has the best price to performance ratio and does the things I want, be that Intel or AMD.

At the moment, Intel is definitely in the lead ;)

Intel is the MAc of the CPU world ;D

So is that why Macs have intels in them now? ;D

And is that why at present both Macs and Intels are better than AMD and PC's? ;D ;D ;D

If you can find me one article that can proove that an Intel Core 2 is outbenched by the AMD equivilant, or one article prooving that buying a new C2D system is more expensive than buying a similar AMD x2 system then I will believe you. But what you need to understand is Netburst died, so did the s**tty gaming processers from Intel.

Their back, and taking the market with them, leaving AMD where it was when they were just a small fish in a big pond.

For now Intel are on top. Whether they stay like that in the long term depends entirely on what AMD do with ATi now.

I don't have the feeling Intel is going to get on top of its crap gaming reputation very soon ::)

Flymo, tread carefully. I know that AMD has a very good gaming past, however Intel is making a comeback. Don't sit and trash them now, for if they are still on top in a few years I will make you eat your words.

Also remember that AMD wasn't alwaies the "u3br" gaming processer they are now. There was a time that they were budget Intel copies.

To anyone new, disregard this poll at all cost. AMD's 939 Core beats out all Netburst from intel, but C2D takes AM2 by the balls. And no matter what, Intel will alwaies have the media field well covered.

Cheers
