Comp truble

Hey guys, i just got a new intel sumthiing or other motherboard, a new intel pentium 4 3.0 ghz processor,
a xfx geforce 7900 gt and a new power suppy and after i put them all in, the comp starts up, but nothing shows up on my screen, as if the computer was off and the monitor was going into standby mode, can anyone help me????

ok this might be a shot in the dark try to clear the cmos.Search on your mother board manual.This might soun crazy but once it happend to a friend and thats how he solved the problem.

i dont no much about the insides of comps so can u explain watever said, wat they are i mean

the little fuse like pin things, if you look in the manual for the motherboard, set them on the pins for clear CMOS and whalla, Cleared, Cheers, Gunny (just look in manual for location and such!)

Yea your motherboard isn't posting. Clearing the CMOS might help, however you also may have a DOA board. Which board exactly is it?

nvm i took it to pc warehouse and they said that the mother board was defective so im getting a new replacement from Newegg, cus once you know, you Newegg
