ok..... I bought a graphics card as you know a 7300LE (POS I know) it said it was a 256 meg card when I bought... ok no problem I can live with it, when I installed it, it said 512MB ram...... now for the life of me, I dont think there is such a thing as a 7300LE 512MB card.... but my nvidia settings beg to differ, and riva tuner says 128 megs........ and when I installed SH3 it said 512 megs.... can somebody tell me of a sure way to find out what ammount of memory my crappy 7300LE has? oh yea, and it loves to overclock about 75mhz without artifacts..... Cheers, Gunny

Rivatuner is usually accurate. You probably have a "RAM eater" card. It has 128MB onboard memory, but it will use 384MB of your system's RAM as video memory for a total of 512MB.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6814121026By SH3 do you mean Silent Hunter 3? I patched the game to get rid of Starforce, but when I play the game the game tries to contact Safenet Inc!!! I uninstalled it. I hope Ubisoft will release a Starforce/Spyware free version.

no it doesnt eat my system ram.... because that registers as 1024MB..... I might check my bios and such, if this card does turn out to be a system eater, its gone.... (Rivatuner says it hasnt been tested on my display adapters as well) Cheers, Gunny
EDIT: Its a 128.... and it doesnt eat any of my system ram.... thanks for that info mate! Cheers!

Well, your RAM will still be 1GB, however when you run FS9 or something the video card will use some of that RAM.
