XBOX QUESTION!

Postby Jimbo » Sat Sep 30, 2006 11:00 am

Hi all!

I'm considering on getting an xbox 360, but the thing stopping me is my TV.. Its a tad on the small side to play on the xbox 360 with it... so i'm wondering, i have an Samsung SyncMaster 930BF, which is DVI connection, and is Fast response time. 1. Is there any chance i can can plug my 360 into this? 2. If i can will i recieve the "Excellent" HD Quality (Because of the DVI), that everyones talking about? and 3. Can i buy a splitter, so i can have both the PC and The 360 connected to the monitor at the same time (it saves me reaching over to switch.. I'm NOT going to be using them at the same time.)

I would be very appreciative if you could answer these questions.

Thanks all.

You might want to take a look at this.  This is a really neat device that allows you to hook your video game console to your computer.

I wouldn't bother with it. Realworld performance has shown the processor on the Xbox360 is around the speed of a 3.2ghz Pentium 4. IBM power Pc archetecture is worse than Netburst IMO.
