I don't think your computer is outdated yet.  You still have a dual core processor, and the 7900GTX is a fabulous card.
Mess with the best, die like the rest.

I don't think it is outdated. It I wanted to buy what you have now it would still cost more than $1000. With the monitor. ;D

What happened to the normal everyday computer? Nothing. You could still surf the internet or type up and print an essay or listen to music on a Pentium III. But you won't be able to play FSX or FS9 for that matter. ;D

With cars it is different. It doesn't matter if you have a new, 5 year old, 10 year old, or 20 year old car, it still does the same thing, and you will get to where you are going in the same amount of time. With computers, not a chance. ;D

doesnt sound outdated to me.

im buying a new pc. costing me 600quid (well near enough) and im getting the GPU down from you. the 7900's are fabulous cards and the latest models...apart from the 7950/GX2 but thats just stupidly powerful!

Not to mention the fact that Jimbos cpu will outrun almost every other single core cpu on the planet  :)

Considering there isn't much software that takes advantage of more, that's pretty impressive.

Well we did make sure that you got an excellent 939 board, so you will be able to drop any dual core AMD CPU you want into it if you feel you need the dual core.

But your system is long from outdated. Vista isn't quite useing the second core to its fullest yet.

Cheers
