Joystick twist woes

Anyone out there had this problem.  My twist/rudder function works fine on the ground in fs9/CFS3 but when I am airborne it only twitches when applied.  I have a Logitech Force 3D pro.  I got rid of my last logitech cordless because of this but the new one does the same.....installed software properly.....It was working well earlier....any ideas?

Its not a hardware issue, its a software issue. Try calibrating the stick, and resetting the options. You may also want to fool with the sensitivity.

perhaps when you have any displacement on the X or Y axis, the rudder is automatically cancelled? try flying straight and level and then applying it to see if that helps. When on the ground, your stick (i would imagin) will be centered so there will be no displacement on the x or y axis.

Just a suggestion!

Sounds like you have your realism setting set to use "Auto Rudder".

I love the "Delete" option when one realises, as one should do, that one has accidentally posted exactly the same question twice... ;)...!

LOL... ;D...!

Paul... ;)...!

Thanks guys.....it was the auto-rudder (face flushing with embarrassment)..which means I gave away a perfectly good Logitech cordless.  At least the young girl I gave it to will make good use of it.

Sorry about the double post but one post was transferred from another forum after I had added this one.

By the way...lots of simmers have been pouring abuse on force-feedback...I really like it, especially in the Over Flanders Fields WWI CFS addon.
Cheers
