Anybody experienced & proficient enough on this, to answer?

My CD R / RW system on my PCs is confusing and time consuming to operate.

The Asus drive came with Nero software,
& the LG drive with Easy CD Creator.

None will read each others CDs.

Then is the winXP written CD, wich only the Asus drive reads & writes to.

Is there a miracle way of getting these drives R & W all the CDs?

If not, which would be the most convinient method to convert to for Read & Wright my old and future CDs?

Just because a drive came with a certain program doesn't mean it will only burn CDs using that program. It will burn CDs with any program.

To eliminate confustion I would either keep Nero or Easy CD Creator installed. You can have both, but they do the same thing, so it's easier to have one. I suggest uninstalling one program.

They are both CD-RW drives? I don't see why a CD burned on one drive wouldn't work on another drive. Maybe if it is a rewritable CD and one of the drives doesn't support rewritables.

Each drive will not work with the other software, they must be dedicated by the manufacturer to that software.

Express only works with CD RW here, and cannot get it to delete files so that I can update them?.

Same with The winXP burner.

Is there an experienced chap with the DVD question please?
