Hi All,
I'm having problems with my graphics card, when using FS, there are flickers all over the screen, and when i pass 15740FT the Sim just.... Stops. Any ideas? I'm downloading the latest 7900 drivers now, maybe that'll help.
Cheers
Mees

A lot of the 7900 series cards are borked straight out of the box. It affects all manufacturers.
Try running 3DMark 05/06 and see if anything out of the ordinary happens.

3DMark (Click) is a benchmarking program.
It will stress the card and if it passes those tests, then it's more than likely a fault with FS9.

Yes, I've got a BFG 7900GT and had no problems. But all the manufacturers have admitted that the failure rates for these cards are much higher than usual.
However problems are starting to be solved. The article below is on the OCUK forums. Interesting read. Basically the voltage supplied to the card in 2D mode was too high and causing RAM failure.

As suggested, download 3D Mark 05 or 06 from Futuremark and run its benchmarking program. If that comes up clean, the problem lies with FS, possibly a fault with the config file or settings.
