Look at the HP dv5000 series books. HP seems to use the best GPUs they can in their lappys, also they usually couple them with very nice processers. The only thing to stay away from is the P4 notebooks. They suck battery like crazy. I would look at a Pentium M or a 1.6G sempron myself. Also stay away from the built in GPU or the ATi eXpress 200 chipsets. They have only 2 pixel pipelines. Get one with a Go 6600 or mobility radeon 9700 if you can.
