I'm planning on getting CH pedals and throttle but keeping my MS S/winder precision 2 joystick. Would there be any problems with this setup?

There shouldnt be any at all, just some configuration changes but they should work fine.

Is it the multi throttle you are after?

We have run the pedals with the Saitek X52 throttle joystick combo. all you have to do is disable the rudder on the stick and assign it to the pedals.
