This could be the cause of several things.
Your card might not handle anti alising very well.
your video card drivers may need to be updated
your video card does not have enough on board ram to support this function
You are not using the latest direct x I think it is up to version 9.

What are your systems specs and we might be able to spot the problem better. 8)

The mx440 aren't dx 9 (as far as im aware) so that could be your problem. Im assuming it only has 64mb of ram onboard which is probably your problem.

Today's standards are around 256MB. I believe even Intel's graphics can allocate up to 224, which is alot for integrated.

As for your problem, try disabling Transform and Lighting and then enabling it. I used to have a similar problem, and that fixed it. It might be a longshot, but it's worth a try.

The 7950GX2

But thats not important. Whats important right now is that you shouldn't turn on AA in FS. Let the card do it, you don't need the game trying to.

The MX series of cards was very weak even in their own day, AA and AF filtering will kill off your frame rates with that card. If you must use AA, then try flying with no clouds and not around built up areas, that will help a lot.
