I recently downloaded Forceware 84.21 off Nvidia's website. I then played Far Cry with FSAA. Through the command console, I enabled HDR. The tearing artifacts are gone! Is this the driver release that fixes FSAA + HDR? Any feedback is appreciated.

What video card do you have Sukhoi?
I didn't know there were issues with FSAA and HDR in Far Cry, shows what I know.
What command do you use to enable HDR? I didn't know you could do this either. What Far Cry (patch) version are you running? I only have the currently patched original game.

AA uses FP16 blending, so does HDR. That would mean you need two FP16 units on a card (or an FP32 unit) to do AA + HDR at the same time.
No Nvidia cards can currently do FP16 HDR and AA at the same time since they only have a FP16 blender.
So what I'm saying is, true FP16 HDR and AA is impossible on Nvidia, but not ATI since they have FP32 support.
The only way you could do both at the same time, is use another way of doing HDR, but HDR that uses true FP16 blending is the best.
How does Farcry do HDR anyway?

I have a 7600GT. To use HDR, you must have patch 1.33. Then you type into the console (console is activated through the ` key) \r_hdrrendering x (where X is 1-11) I use 7, as it gives good image quality and performance. 2 seems to work well. You can experiment to see what setting works for you.
