Lost

My motherboard has onnboard Realtek AC'97 Audio card.
At first it worked OK, but now I lost all sound.
I tried uninstalling all I can in Ctrl.Panel, System, Devices, Sound, and reinstalled from the Asus CD and from the Realtek download

Lets start with basics, first in FS hit "Q" if that helps it means you accdently hit it. Then go to FS sound settings and check that. Then go to the main sound (double click the speaker icon in your task bar) make shure nothing is muted. Start with that and we can try and get this fixed.

All I can think of is to check for DMA or IRQ conflicts. If all is well there maybe the board is kaput.  ???

Maybe it's not the PC but the output device..... headphone/speaker system, check cabling?

The small speaker and headset work fine when plugged in on the other PC, which incidentally have same onboard AC97 S.Card.
