Hey Guys and Ladies,
Here's wishing you a very nice day. My question is very basic and I'm sure has been asked before. How do you "hook-up " TWIN " LCD monitors and split the image down the center ?
Appreciate your input,
caveman

Not sure. I'd like to know how to hook up two monitors and have a seperate display on each. Then I can surf t'internet and watch DVD's.

Its very easy. Hook up both moniters to your video card. Enable the secondary display, and set it to "Extend my windows desktop." Then drag whatever app you want onto screen 2. So you can watch a movie, and surf the web.
Cheers

If you have XP then it is already set up for this. All you need is a twin output graphics card or a second piggy backing the first. Once you have this, go to "display" settings and then into..........sorry, I just cannot remember what it is called, my XP is in German. However once in display setting (resolution, 16 bit, 32bit colour etc), bottom right in this window is a button that then goes into the monitor setting. Here you can select the size, position and priority of the second monitor.
Sorry, I have not had a English version of Windows on my computer for 10 years now

Once you have the second monitor up and running it is just a case of "unlocking" the required window in FS and dragging it to your second monitor (you must be in window mode). It makes a world of diffence to fly with a second monitor.

I do'nt know if this will be helpfull as I only have the old type 15" & 17" monitors.
[quote]Hi, it is very usefull, I have mostly fsNavigator on the second screen.
You just click and drag the pointer way out of your screen and goes into the second one.
You may have to "unlock" some items to create the blue top ribbon on which you click on to drag it. (not fsNav).
1. Just upgraded my grfx card (6600gt) & connected my VGA to its vga socket.
2. bought a "VGA to Flat Screen" adaptor (

My work computer has 4 monitors on it and it is quite impressive to run FS9 on it. FSNav on one screen, Radios and Nav on another, Control Panels on the third and fly from the fourth.
Because it is running 6600GTs I don't fly from it much anymore, although they are up to the job as long as you don't try to max everything out.

Hey Guys,
A good morning to you all. Always wishing you a nice day. This is so nice of "YOU GUYS " to take so much time in answer to my questions.
Please bear with me on this, - - - I should have been more clear on my question. I was thinking of extending the scenery to cover a wider area as I flew . Sorta like using the right and left vertical edges of the two monitors as the center of an airplanes front window.
Example : The two 19 inch monitors placed side by side would appear as tho they were one monitor that was a 38 inch monitor.
Example : The scenery would continue unbroken from one monitor to the next.
Is this set-up even possible ?
Again - - - sure do thank you guys for your time and input on this.
