I have always used the official ATi drivers. I did try the Omega ones, but found that they provided an increase of 0 ~ 3FPS in the games I tested (FS9 saw no improvement). So I say use the official ones.

Drivers are a issue that no one can really help you with, each persons pc and setup varies so much that what works for one may not work for you.

The only way to really find what is the best is to try a bunch.

Always official drivers for me... I have never seen a "true" improvement using any hacked driver.. that includes both ATI and Nvidia.

What I have seen is better performance from different "official" driver releases based on the video card.

I have seen more people end up with "borked" systems and O/S reinstalls using hacked driver installers than any other reason.

EDIT: It is true there are some hacked drivers designed to improve a specific game title. As far as I know none of them were ever taylored for FS9 use.

with the hacked drivers nothing comes for free.  If they make your games run faster there lowering image quality.  I would stick with the offiicial drivers as there updated more often and are more likley to work with all your games stabley.
