Alright, I know I'm probably crazy, but I want to try and put an old Bios on my 6200, its the first revision, I Keep reading in the second revision (the one I had pre-installed on the card) Heavily locks overclocking, which is certainly true, I have enough room to clock it probably close to 400 and beyond, BUT, it wont go much over 375 without crashing, I just want to try it, even if it wont work, I have NVflash and some floppies, just gotta figure out why the floppy disk wont work, other than that, I think I can do it, just need a straight forward answer for it! Cheers, Gunny (Sick and tired of playing

Once you get your floppy working, then your good to go. Just throw nFlash and the new BIOS onto a newly formatted floppy. Then boot it up.
(at the end of each line hit enter)

A:/ nflash.exe
A:/nflash.exe/ -b backup.rom
A:/nflash.exe/-p -u -f (name of the new BIOS file including the file extension)

here here is a helpful guide to explain anything else you may need.

Gtting somewhere! I can now get the bios flash command to work and try to load it off floppy but..... No Nvidia Display adapters found, how can that be? it didnt flash just gave me that error Cheers, Gunny (any help!)

EDIT:Upon requesting a list in Nvflash it says I have no Nvidia adapters....... Well my card in windows shows its a 6200, as does the cards cosmetic markings, its box, and drivers! but the nvflash doesnt seem to care about all of that and says I have no Nvidia adapters present..... it wont even let me back up the original bios!

Hope it works this time.

Also have the newest nVidia drivers on hand. It will claim that you have a brand new card (cus you do) and you need to reinstall the drivers.

Well it refuses to open any files I try to type in, says it cant open blah blah blah.rom.... No idea whats up, I turned all write protection etc off and still nothing, I dunno if its because its hardlocked by nvidia (Which I already know it has been) Or if its my Computers Bios....  I now know how to flash a Graphics Bios etc which is nice. Well I cant flash it back I dont think.... So I'll just leave it be till I get one that does flash, Thanks for the help CT! Cheers, Gunny
