Joystick and X-Plane

Postby Katahu » Tue Jun 06, 2006 3:24 pm

Ok, I'm having a technical difficulty over here. Every time I fly in X-Plane the planes I fly are very twitchy when it response to joystick input. Does anyone have any suggested settings for my Saitek X-45?

PS: I have the latest version of X-Plane.

Ok, I tried to fiddle with the null zone ratio by applying 0.50 ratio and then working my way down. Even though the planes don't respond as much when my stick moves a microcentimeter from its center, the plane begins to move erratically when the stick moves out of the null zone.

This is one of the things I hate about X-Plane. The planes fly realistically compared to FS9 but the sim seems to lack a proper understanding of my joystick. :-/
