Saitek X-52

Postby Sir_Jon » Wed May 17, 2006 12:44 pm

Ok so I'm getting a new computer very soon, and was thinking about upgrading my joystick and saw this little thing. Just wondering what it is like in FS9, is it very compatible. Thanks,

The XF-52 is very compatable with FS-9. In fact I would be surprised if it was not originally engineered for FS-9

I've used a Saitek X-45 for quite a while and wouldn't go back to conventional single-stick types ever. X-52 seems to be icing on the cake as it's based on the X-45. Only change I wouldn't care for is the rudder function being switched to a twist action on the stick, personal preference only. (the X-45 has a fairly beefy rocker switch on the backside of the throttle to control rudder and nosewheel steering) Being able to assign many keyboard/mouse functions to HOTAS buttons and hats is one of the best features, and I haven't even explored some of the more advanced ones!! Go for it!
