Packaging a CPU for shipping

Hey guys first off sorry moderators i didn't have a clue where to post this.
Right back to the point. How would you best package a CPU for shipping as i don't want to damage any of the pins. what could i use to protect it? As i don't have the original box or anything. so whats there around the house?

Foam may create static, get some anti staic packing "peanuts" or even newspaper, and pack it in a anti static bag.

if you can get hold of a square of anti static foam (motherboards are packaged with it) that can be used to protect the pins.  Once the pins are protected then wrap the cpu in more foam or bubble rap and then put in a cardboard box, making sure it can't rattle around inside it.

the plastic you find on easter egg boxes is REALLY strong, if you can fold that enough times and fill the space between it and the cpu with foam and an anrtistatic bag nothing should be able to touch it. (to get an idea of what i mean grab a bit and fold it over,(the clear plastic stuff) now at the bend in the plastic try to deform it   )
