joystick inverted

i just installed CFS3 today, and my default controls on my joystick are for some reason inverted. when i try to bank right (turn my joystick right), my aircraft goes left. when i turn the joystick to the left, my aircraft goes to the right, and vice versa for the y axis. i cant figure out how to solve this in the controls. i know my joystick is calibrated and it works fine on the control panel/game controllers test screen. anyone know whats wrong?

Rotate the whole joystick unit 180 degrees. That should sort it.

Is there an invert joystick x/y axis in the cfs3 config utility ?

Can you invert the axis in the control panel just for cfs3 and then revert it for anything else?

Let me guess- you also use the stick for FS9, right? same thing happened to me. Tried checking the "reverse" box for each control in the setup menu, but still had other weird problems, and had to re-install CFS3.
I haven't flown CFS3 in months,but I had things going OK for awhile switching between the two applications.
Don't ask me why it happens...
