Ibook G4 (1st gen)

1.0ghz G4

OSX 10.4.6 Tiger.

i bought it used from a friend who just ordered himself a macbook Pro (i envy him ::))

1: Flight sim
2: it's all new hardware

I have a mac book pro like ramoses i use it for work as its much more stable that windows xp and it never crashes/d
its perfect for web browsing as it has a modem wireless card and etherenet port so i only use it for work and going on the internet when the other computer is being used
overall if you want to do work on the pc get a mac :D

I still have the inner workings from my original Apple IIe which I obtained in 1979..... :o...!
In 1980 changed over to the small PC's; Sinclair, Commodore, Amstrad, Atari, etc....followed by the excellent Amiga 1200 and then onto the more recent "Windows" PC's...
Much more sensible...  ;)...!

I still have all my original computers and software/hardware dating from 1979...many of them still in working order...;D...!
...my own little museum... ;)...!

I was reading somewhere the other day that Apple now has software that will allow you to run XP in a Mac,

If you can run XP I would assume you could then run Windows based software???

Ramos ......... you make it sound like M.U.A. (Mac Users Anonymous). Do you all get together and talk through your software.  ;D ;D ;D

I'm currently saving up for a powerbook at the moment. Don't think i'll be getting it any time soon though. ;D

P.s. Whats an Intel doing in a Mac? A whole lot more than it ever did in a PC! Boom Boom!

I have a mac book pro like ramoses

that was one run on sentence. anyways... I don't own the MBP, my friend ordered it. I got his old Ibook.

I still have the inner workings from my original Apple IIe which I obtained in 197

we played a prank on my cousin by telling him we got him a computer for his birthday. he unwrapped it, and he was stunned. we got him an Apple IIe. :P

I was reading somewhere the other day that Apple now has software that will allow you to run XP in a Mac

only on the new Intel Based macs. yes you can, but it doesen't support some features yet like motion sensing, the isight camera, and a couple other tiems. also the hardware runs hotter. nothin like your mac seeing the BSOD.

the program is called Boot Camp, and is still public beta @ apple.com
