Digital camera help?

Hey all..I've grown attached to my kodak easyshare dx4530 and it does good enough for me...

now I'm looking for some decent lenses and a lense adapter for it so that I can take closer shots of flying aircraft...

Unfortunately it has been a long tedious process and I'm not even sure where I really need to start in order to not end up with useless paperweights...

I would appreciate any thoughts, concerns and ideas someone might have ;)

Does that camera even allow for changing lenses ?

EDIT:   Lens ADAPTER.. gotcha  :-[

I've heard that when you try to get more out of a point-n-shoot camera than point-n-shoot.. you're fighting an uphill battle..

They wreak havoc with auto-focus.. but from what I've seen.. they can be bought for under a hundred dollars.. so it can't hurt to experiment..

Thanks for the information, I'm still trying to find a good place to get a set from as most places I can find don't have one for my camera or it is out of stock.

Yeah I too wondered how it would interact with my camera, but seeing as how most of the ones I do find for it aren't that much money it is worth a try :)

well Nikon Digital cameras are way up there, the best i know of. I own a D70 myself. and they interchange with SLR lenses.

they say that you can onl use Digital SLR lenses on Diital nikons, not ture. i dont own any digital SLR lenses and have experienced no quality loss with my SLRs.

anyway, if your going to find that kinds of camera, and you have a sizeable pocket, the D70 is a very good choice.

here's an example of how good the D70 is. you know the photo people at disney? they take shots of famous places. those are all D70 cameras. very versatile.
