Stupid Ipod

I recently bought an ipod nano 1GB and when i put the cd in the drvie and it tries to install the ipod software, it always says to me at the end of the installation
Ipod Service [x]
   Couldn't create service


When I go to install Itunes it tells me that the registry keys and other things are missing and thus i should reinstall....and the cycle continues.

Help!!!!!PLEASE!!!

i cant help with that, but download some software called ANAPOD, its an alternative to iTunes, but far far better, you can drag and drop your music onto the ipod, you can play music thru your computer via the ipod, and your ipod isnt locked to a machine when using ANAPOD...

google it!
