Problem

When i load Fs9 the screen comes up in windowed and wont go into full screen and it also wont recognise my graphics card
My system specs are
intel pentium4 @ 3.00ghz
1gb ram
Ati raedon x700 pro with latest catylist drivers

Did you correctly uninstall your drivers? Other than that I can't think of what the issue is.

Yes i had some modded drivers and then i got rid of them and went back to the old ones
Also catylist control centre wont launch

The problem was with my fs9 so i checked my backup copy and that works fine but i still cant launch the catylist control centre

How are you trying to launch CCC? The icon or the right click menu?

Intresting, open your task manager and see if CLI.exe is running. If not, then CCC isnt installed correctly. Try forcing it by going to run, then CLI.exe

Yes Cli.exe is running but it doesnt show up and if i try and launch again it just launches Cli.exe again but no catylist control centre screen

Ya, their is deffinately a curruption in your Cat Controol center. Defragment your hard drive, run a virus and spyware scan. Then try opening it. Still no luck reinstall drivers (newest ones are cat 6.3).

With an x700 I woulds stay with the 6.1 cats
The 6.2 and higher cats are designed for the x1XXX series cards and an increase in CPU load has been noted. Many have found the increased use of CPU cycles reduces FS performace by 3-5 frames average.
Still, it does not hurt to test and see how they work.

5.11 would also work fine here. If your using 6.2 get anything else, as they had some major issues.
