I have a ATI Radeon Mobility 345M on my laptop. I've installed the latest drivers and CCC but I can't get AA to work. I've tried performance 2x up to quality 4x and no effect. I have 64mb of RAM dedicated to it and have Texture settings to High Quality, mip mapping to quality and anisotropic filtering set to 16x. I've had AA working before with these settings on theses dirvers but now it wont work, anyone know why??

Are you useing Cat 6.2 or 6.3? Also I find that your AA effects are better if you let CCC render them insted of your card.

Full screen anti-aliasing won't work in windowed mode, you have to run the sim in full screen mode. Make sure AA is turned OFF in the sim's display settings.

I'm running Cat 6.3, and it is in fullscreen mode. I'm at a complete loss as to why it wont work. I had it working 2 days ago, before that it wouldn't work and now it wont work and I can't work out why!!

The other problem could be the chip itself. They tend to be a bit pickey. Try getting older drivers (Cat 5.10 ish) and see if that helps. Also just dubble check your CCC to see what you have on and off.

OK, I'll try the older drivers when i get home. I know this chipset is mighty picky... Could it possibly be the RAM or the amount of RAM i give to it?? I've checked all settings and they are as follows:

AF: 16x
AA: Performance 4x
Texture: High Quality
MIP: Quality
Wait for vertical : On, unless application specifies
Support 32 Bit Z-Buffer
Support DXT textures

ct, you are a legend!! I just installed the 5.10 driver and CCC, it works a charm!! I also got new RAM today, 896mb system and 128 for the chip... I can't wait to really test it out ^^

Well thank you, but I don't think I'm quite legend status (yet ;) ). Anyway the older chips tend to not like the new drivers as the 6 series ones are designed more on the idea that everyone has a X series card now, and so the older chips are now at a loss. Also more RAM is alawaies a plus, so have fun with your "new" system.
