Long time reader, first time poster.
Go easy on me.
I am trying to set up the toggle switch on the top right hand side of the yoke to be rudder control. I am able to get the rudder to move, but my question is how do I get the rudder to automaticallly go back to the center position after I let go of the switch?
A set of CH rudder pedals is in my future, however I don't have the money now.

Thanks
Tim

Hi Tim and welcome to SimV,

I don't think i can be of much help to you (as i'm still stuck with figuring out how to assign the rudders to the yoke) but i feel that if you can get the rudders to move (i'm assuming you mean rudders and not the rudder trim) then by pressing the 5 key of the numpad you should get it in the center. If in any way you can assign the numpad key 5 to a button on the yoke then i'm guessing that should work fine.

Now, i still have'nt fingured out a way to set the rudder trim to the center with just a button. I think the only way is to actually see the rudder trim position and manually bring it to the center.

CH rudder pedals are sure the best solution. Take my advice and start saving for it as i'm doing ;).

I'm not an expert at this but I think your toggle switch is a momentary switch (so it just has on or off) and what you would need is a spring loaded potentiometer.
Hope this helps

Best bet is to get the rudder pedals as well.

The pedals and yoke combo is brilliant, until then why not enable auto rudder in the sim.
