for those who know...

i'd like to get the precision slider to work as the spoliers. now i tried it through the "joystick axes" menu, but it didn't work.

anyone know any other way?

If it programs like the X45 you probably need to use that crap software that comes with the stick ;)

The crap software that  comes with  the stick works better than the crap software that comes with the microsoft update for the stick.  :P :P :P :P

i finally found the calibration for it. it's in FS9, settings . sensitivities. I didn't set these.

i still have a problem though, either the spoilers deploy immedately and they won't retract, or they won't extand all the way, it has something to do with the null zone and the sensitive points. anyone know how to correct this?

Again assumeing that the software is the same as the 45 you may need to go and set the slider like you would a rotory and assign it bands, that should allow it to work in increments rather than .

but the spoilers aren't in bands, it's one press... besides, FS overrides the X-52 SST.

But is the "slider" (not sure what this slider thing is) much like a rotory? if so you would need to set it as such, much like those that set thier trim on a rotory.

You can use SST to program your stick then you need to load that profile, that will override your FS9 settings.
Try going into the Saitek profiling software and programing the key there using the same keystroke that you would in FS9, load the profile fire up FS9 then see what happens.

But you must remember to first load the profile in the profiler before starting to fly.

I rember doing this when I first got my stick, however I found it more of a hastle to have that on a slider, so I put it as the red butten under the fire cap. I set my slider as thrust reversers.

oOo now thats not a bad idea... i have an extra rotary, and i could switch the two...

and having the spoliers on a slider helps when you want to shave off speed during descent.
