Go to alienware pcs, and configure you own Alienware ALX system. It will serve you well, for an average price of more than $20,000 lol

I don't know why people think that an X2 3800+ is a desirable CPU

Sucks eggs in my books. Why pay double to go back 2 years in core speed ?

San Diego core A64 processors are the best bang for the buck. They easily overclock with close to if not over a 25% increase. I run 2750 on a 3700+ which is 2200 @ stock

Well the X2 3800 does have advantages in multi thread apps, and I bet you anything FSX will be multi threaded, so those 1.8ghz cores will be more like running on a 3.8ghz core taking into affect friction and latancy between cores. Granted its not the FX60 but its great for a normal user. MHZ ISNT EVERYTHING ANYMORE

half but not all. and 1.8ghz from AMD equals about 3ghz from intel these days thanks to shorter pipelines and better core optimizations the AMD does more work per clock than intel, and thats what everyone forgets

Mabe on a northwood core, but not on a prescott, and certainly not on a prastler.
