Brightness/contrast adjustment missing!

I just picked up another monitor, an LG CS990DC to be specific.  It's bigger and has a higher resolution than my old 15" monitor.  But when I try to adjust it, there's no contrast or brightness controls anywhere!  I can stretch or distort the display, move it around on the screen, and adjust each of the colours independently.  But it's still too dark, and the contrast is too high, and there's not much I can do about it :(

I'm running a Radeon 9800 Pro video card and I can adjust the brightness settings from that, but not for all applications - FS9 goes back to the default setting which really bums me out.

I can't find a manual online, my PC insists it already has the latest driver (a generic PnP driver for XP) and I'm getting really frustrated.  Any help, such as telling me where the brightness/contrast buttons have been hidden, is most welcome.

Doh!  Found them now - they're manually adjusted knobs mounted under the fascia.  Why they couldn't be included in the menu options is anybody's guess.

PROBLEM SORTED  ;D
