its removeable* with a sodering iron and some solder wick but be careful not to burn the pcb
*KDSM does not in anyway condone removeing soldered on memory chips

Posted: Fri Mar 03, 2006 6:39 pmolder ones used to have ram slots. For example you would buy a 4mb card and then buy a kit to upgrade it to a MASIVE 8mb. Not seen any younger than about 96' with this feature though.
