Yeah.. I've been watching ebay for some rudder pedals... although CH pedals are the most common there (and the cheaper of the lot) they still don't feel anymore comfortable than if I went and made some myself....

Hmmm... *thinking...*

Ebay or Home Depot.... Ebay or Home Depot...... easier to buy or time to make... (decisions, decisions...)   ::)

Yeah - thinking about ebay myself - instead of overclockers. A bit more tricky though.

If you know exactly what your after, and are e-bay savvy, I think theres little competition!

Buyer beware, obviously, but a bit of research into the sellers feedback usually puts my mind at ease or on alert, whichever the case may be.

I second that post.  I bought 2 video cards, a cpu, software, and a bunch of other non-computer stuff from ebay.  Ebay is hard to beat.  You can get used stuff AND new stuff for under market prices from ebay.  Just, you gotta do your research, know what you're after, and decide in advance how much you're willing to spend and NEVER go above that limit.

I quite agree. I generally won't buy from someone unless they have sold plenty of items, have almost 100% feedback,  and have paypal (you can get all your money back easily if there is a problem with that method if there is proof of delivery etc). I have never had a problem, but once. That was when I bought of a hidden feedback seller. My error and I got the money back - but it wasn't fun.
