What rudder pedals should I use with my Saitek X52?

I have heard that I need pedals that use the game port on the computer rather that the USB port.

Suggestions ?

I use CH Products USB Pro Pedals with no problems.

FS accepts multiple controllers and in my games that don't the twist on the X-52 gets re-enabled. :)

No Problems.

You can make your own rudder pedals quite easily and cheaply ( like me) what you need is some wood several screws and nuts some thick elasticky rubber strips and more wood along with a slider control ( about 50p each to buy) and an old joystick ( can buy new ones for about

I'm interested!! I'm interested!!  I haven't been wanting to spend $200 on a set of rudder pedals (but I readilly spent money on a new mobo with dual 7800 GT OC graphics cards...  ::)  ???  ... go figure...)  But anyways... I've got an old joystick that I'd like to convert... can you help me out with how you created your arrangement?   Thanks.

My ch pedals only cost me $129 from Electronics Boutique at one of our local malls.  That was almost 5 years ago.  I haven't seen any CH products on any of our local stores' shelves lately, it seems they are throwing off PC related items and moving whole hog toward the game deck environment.  Ahh, the power of mothers who want PC's free for "practical" tasks and of kids to impatient to install and configure PC things.

My design arose somewhat by accident (not for everybody, I'm sure), but it worked out OK... hacked a Logitech wireless stick, and now I have rudder pedals, toe brakes, and lots of expand-ability if I ever decide to use more of the buttons. And, um, no talcum powder... but I do really like Wealthysoup's design- very nice!
Best thing about this "hack" was that I didn't disconnect any part of the wiring of the stick- I was able to keep the controller base and its circuit boards intact and just solder some leads here and there...see my threads in the "Homebuilt Cockpits" forum...
