I have a saitek R80 Racing wheel for gameport, with recent installation of Sound card I have a 15 port gameport on the pc.... Now, the wheel works, but not propperly, I read and it says it isnt recomended to be used on XP but in the control panel it detects it perfectly fine, but in 18 wheels of steel convoy and Driver (the original) Demo its all over the place without moving it.... any ideas? Cheers, Gunny

Gunny,if the controls came with an installation CD try running

Have you tried calibrating it in Gaming Options at all, it is actually showing up in there so you show see the calibration option.

Windows XP wont detect it, I gotta manually make a profile for it in order to see it too calibrate, This whole 'Gameport' thing with this particular wheel is helpless for XP, Once I find a good partitioning util I'll just run XP/98SE Cheers, Gunny
Gaming Options? havent heard of this one

I could do with one of those, my Audigy2 has no gameport, I have a gameport M$ FF stick!
Trouble is, Gameport to USB Adapter's (which would get round my problem) seem to be as rare as Rocking Horse Poo. :(

Check Ebay and random Radio shacks, they arent cheap but hey, they might do the trick...... I saw many in UK and a few in the US like 20 bucks more or less! Cheers, Gunny
