Well i managed to get my upgrade sorted and installed fine.

This is what i had before

2200+ Athlon XP 1.80 Ghz
512Mb RAM
Geforce FX5200 128MB

My new system upgrade:

2600+ Athlon XP 1.91 Ghz
1 GB RAM
6600 GT 128MB

And this new upgrade has REALLY made an improvement to gaming and general computing. My pc has become more responsive and gaming is brilliant

Just to show how well its working i have the 3D marks scores here.

OLD system score 3d 2001se : 4650
New upgrade score 3d mark 2001se : near-ish 12,000

Remarkable difference for around

No problem M8, but you may think about getting 3DMark05 to see where your system truely stands.

Believe it or not, your new cpu will be "bottlenecking" the graphics card, get a faster cpu and then see what you score!

To give you an example,
http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=8207427  A score of 10,080 with an old FX5600 and 2.6 Pentium 4

And, my current score.. 21175 6800GT & A64 3000+
http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=8726574

Still, its an improvement on what you had before, enjoy it!

Yeah cpu prolly is bottlenecking but I wouldnt say it is enugh to get a new cpu. Your next CPU should support PCI-E
