File Storage

Postby Bubblehead » Thu Jan 05, 2006 7:52 pm

I have an external hard drive which I use to store certain files and folders. Specifically, I stored aircraft, gauge, sound, etc. files from my FS9 collection. However, I've been downloading additional FS9 files from time to time which eventually I will need to store. My question is: If I transfer my existing aircraft folders to the storage disk, will it override any, most or all of the files already in the storage drive? Or, I have to delete the older files and do a new transfer?

Just make a new Folder on the external to store the newer info. Maybe someone else has an easier answer but thats what I did when I had an external. Even if you did transfer them as is folders and files will only be overwritten if they have the same name.
