Hey Guys and Ladies,   Sure hope everyone had a nice day.    I would suppose this has been through the topics before but me being new here, - -  haven't  read  it  yet.      How about posting your extra  but serviceable PC parts to a  "Help yourself ,  "FREE"  as is  list" .  It sure would help others on low or fixed incomes.   It could also help in  "research" such as trying out different configurations  that is limited only to those with money to spare .      It would sure be good to know that the replaced  part was not collecting dust in some box while helping a fellow Simmer.  The only  MONEY involved would be the postage .      Just  a  thought.             caveman

Well, I'd be glad to help you if I could but when I upgrade anything I am fortunate enough to do business with a shop that takes my old parts for trade credit.  For example, if I choose to upgrade to a 6800 the shop would take my 6600 GT in trade credit and it would only cost me like $50-$75 or so in actual cash spent.  They do it with ram even.  I haven't had to pay full for any part for a long time because I just keep trading up.  I try to do it on less than 1 year cycles though.  They won't credit as much for parts that are really old.
