New Mobo-Problems sorted-At long last...!

Hello all...
Some of you may remember the problems I had over the past 3-4 years with my Gigabyte GA-7VT600-L motherboard...
It often refused to boot-up into POST, which meant that whenever I managed to finally get it to work each day, I had to to keep it running all day...(LOADS of electricity!)...for fear that it wouldn't start-up again...
...!
LOL...!
Anyway...
I have finally replaced it with another Gigabyte Mobo: GA-7N400SL...this time with the new nVidia chipset, instead of the old VIA chipset which the GA-7VT600L board had...
...!
...anyway...(again)...
After installing the new board and all its various bits of hardware, I noticed that my Floppy Drive was no longer working. The light was constantly "on", and it wouldn't recognise a floppy disk when inserted...
...!
..So..
I went out and bought a NEW floppy drive, fitted it...
...same preblemo...
...!
"Buggar!", I thought...
