draw problems

Hi all,

I have a AMD Athlon 2.2 processor and a Nividia 5200 Fx 256mb video card but I still have a bad redraw when coming up to or passing an airfield or City. Can anyone help trying to  to fix this problem and what would be the best default settings?.

I am no computer expert like some of the people here, but I would try a defrag, update drivers etc...and also close as much in your task bar as you can. Might help

Your Video card is not capable of anything more than mediocre performance in FS9. Sorry to break the news to you. Athlon 2.2 what? there are a plethora of 2.2 Athlons, I have one and it is one of the fastest CPU's on the planet, your's obviously isn't, find out what it really is and get back to us.

You need to learn how to configure your video card's driver settings to obtain better performance from your card, typically, this means turning OFF the automatic settings and configuring it manually, then you can later work on the FS9 settings, which will need to be reduced from default.
