All,

Title says it all. I ordered it last night and want to know what people think about this card. I'm running it on a
P4 2.8
1 gig Ram
440W PSU..

Also any setting advice for FS2004. Right now I get steady 25fps.

Thank you
Clown

Well your going to see a nice increase in FPS along with the sharpness of the game. However you may want to look into getting a new processer. Rember FS isnt just about the GFX, it taxes the whole system as a whole.

Cheers

I found it surprising when I looked at comparisons of processors.  It seems like the lower AMD processors beat out some of the Higher Pentium ones.  I was happy to see my processer as one of the better ones ;D (AMD Athalon 64 3200+)

I got it in yeasterday. I can run Nascar Racing 2003 all settings maxed at 1280 x 1024 4xAA 8xAF and get solid 50 fps. Run FS2004 at same settings and get solid 30 fps. COD same at solid 80 fps. I haven't fired up Half life 2 yet, but everything looks awesome.

I run an ATI X800 AIW... you can easily run 16xAF with that card for maximum visual quality and not suffer any serious frame loss.

If you are running stock @ 500mhz-500mhz the card will handle 520-520 without worry. Anything above 520 and you should get heatsinks on the memory chips and a bit better GPU cooler. ATI is already pushing that card to its limits so the O/c is limited without additional cooling.

ATI Tool .024 will allow you to change the latency on the video bus to 32 from the default 256+. That will greatly improve the video smoothness from frame to frame and eliminate any studders.

Thank you for reminding me, I did this with my other card forgot about the tweak for the new one. Will change AF too and see how it looks. I'm not big on overclocking, what little gain I would see I don't want to risk shortning the lifespan.
