Hi,
I am in the process of getting a new computer. The one I'm looking at is a Dell Inspiron 9300 laptop with the following specs:
Pentium M 770 2.13Ghz
1GB Ram
256 MB Nvidia Geforce Go 6800 graphics card.
Will I be able to play FS2004 with the graphics settings all on or near max?

See my system specs...same processor, 1GB of RAM and a decent video card and I play FS maxed out at 70FPS...

You should not have any problems running at or near max settings. Just make sure you do not have any other programs running in the background like spyware or adware removal programs as they can cause your system to slow down, even programs like weather bug or other weather desk top programs that update frequently can cause the system to slow down.

If you can splurge a bit I would get a lappy with the 7800GTX-GO but thats just me. Nvidia says it has almost no performance loss compared to its desktop counterpart. But yes that system you have there should run it fine at max.

What GFX card have you got? That is likely to be your problem.
