Well I had a FX5200 put into my machine and it wouldn't take it. OK it wasn't an AGP, but it was an old card in a modern computer and it wouldn't have it. It was bottle necking. Yours AGP?

Install Catalyst 5.9 Drivers + Catalyast Controol Center. Turn on the VPU Reset. Then we can find out if it is a VPU problem or a memory issue. Also consider getting a new heatsink. Got an old x800 sink laying around if you want it.

If it's crashing in any game then I suspect you have a basic configuration problem with your PC.
This could be bios settings or improper installation of system device drivers, such as your mainboard drivers.
It could also be improper installation or improper setting of your video card driver.
It's probably not an FS9 issue due to the global nature of the problem.
