Xp setup doesnt like my hardware

Postby Ivan » Tue Aug 23, 2005 4:51 pm

OK i got the latest stuff in hardware... and BSOD as soon as the machine switches to 'driver' mode for video.

Safe mode gives reboot when using it with LAN support.

Looks like a long night...

I know you've probably tried this, but have you tried cleaning the drivers and reinstalling them.

BTW, for those that don't speak geek:
BSOD-blue screen of death, the screen you get when windows doesn't like you
safe mode-special mode that loads critical OS services only, a diagnostic and repair mode. Vanilla safe mode only loads bare system esentials. Safe mode with networking support loads networking services in addition to bare essentials.

Ivan, is it possible for you to give me the error code that comes with the BSOD. I can help if I had more info.
